We are seeking a Director of Food and Beverage to oversee our F&B team. As the Director, you will serve as both the cultural ambassador and operational leader for our culinary, service, and event experiences. This role involves guiding, innovating, and elevating every aspect of F&B operations. It requires a creative and strategic leader dedicated to delivering excellence in food and beverage offerings. You will oversee the department’s full scope, ensuring outstanding service, uncompromising quality, and operational efficiency. The Director will shape memorable guest experiences, inspire a high-performing team, and drive consistent operational success across multiple outlets and events.

Responsibilities:

What You’ll Do as a Canyon Ranch Colleague

• Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and inspire a talented team of culinary, service, and event professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and professional growth. Partner closely with the Executive Chef to integrate culinary operations with beverage, events, and service standards. Oversee recruitment, training, evaluation, and career development for F&B staff, ensuring adherence to company policies and standards. Lead by example, ensuring all employees uphold service standards, punctuality, and appearance.
• Operations & Service Excellence: Manage and oversee all F&B operations, including restaurants, bars, lounges, and event functions, ensuring seamless service delivery and operational efficiency. Maintain the highest standards of service, presentation, hygiene, and safety across all F&B operations. Curate and execute creative culinary experiences and events, maintaining meticulous attention to detail and brand consistency. Collaborate with other department heads to ensure alignment, operational cohesion, and delivery of a world-class guest experience.
• Strategic Planning & Financial Management: Develop and implement innovative food and beverage strategies aligned with brand vision and guest expectations. Develop and manage the departmental annual operating budget, ensuring cost control, revenue optimization, and financial accountability. Monitor performance metrics, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement best practices to enhance efficiency, quality, and guest satisfaction.
• Guest Experience & Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with guests, vendors, and other stakeholders. Ensure the consistent delivery of exceptional guest experiences and proactively address issues or concerns. Direct budget and revenue responsibility: the position is directly responsible for forecasting, generating revenue, and developing and managing the department budget.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum five years in Food & Beverage operations, including at least two years in a senior leadership role within a luxury or high-end hospitality setting.
• Education: Minimum High School diploma or equivalent. Preferred Associate degree or two-year equivalent specialized training or experience.
• Experience in curating and executing creative events in various settings with a keen eye for detail.
• Certifications: ServSafe Manager Certification. Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving history.
