JobPeeks, Inc. ("JobPeeks," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal and business information when you visit our website, purchase credits, or use our AI-powered video job-ad tools (the "Platform").
By using the Platform, you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use JobPeeks.
2. Who We Are
JobPeeks provides AI tools that help employers transform job descriptions into short-form video job ads. We comply with:
- The Federal Trade Commission Act (Section 5 – deceptive-practice prohibitions);
- The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) and similar state privacy laws; and
- Applicable U.S. data-protection and advertising standards.
3. Information We Collect
We collect information in three categories:
(a) Information You Provide
- Account data: name, email address, password, company name, and role.
- Payment details: billing name, address, and partial payment identifiers (full card data is processed by third-party payment processors).
- Employer materials: job descriptions, company logos, and any media uploaded for AI video creation.
- Communications: messages, emails, or support requests you send to us.
(b) Information Collected Automatically
- Device identifiers, IP address, browser type, and operating system.
- Usage data such as pages visited, session timestamps, and referring URLs.
- Cookie and analytics data for security, performance, and user-experience optimization.
(c) Information Related to AI-Generated Content
When you use our AI tools, we process input materials (text, logos, scripts) to generate video ads. These inputs are stored temporarily to produce the requested output and may be retained in anonymized form for model improvement and quality assurance (see Section 8).
4. How We Use Information
We use collected information to:
- Provide and operate the Platform;
- Generate and deliver video job ads based on Employer inputs;
- Process payments and manage credit balances;
- Communicate with you about your account, updates, or support;
- Improve our AI systems and platform performance;
- Prevent fraud, misuse, or security incidents; and
- Comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information.
5. Legal Basis for Processing
We process data on the following grounds:
- Contractual necessity – to provide the services you request.
- Legitimate interest – to improve services and ensure security.
- Consent – for optional cookies or promotional communication.
- Legal obligation – to comply with regulatory or tax requirements.
6. How We Share Information
We may share limited information with:
- Service providers – cloud hosts, payment processors, analytics, or customer-support vendors under confidentiality agreements.
- Employers and job seekers – when exchange is necessary to display or deliver job ads.
- Legal authorities – when required by law, subpoena, or to protect JobPeeks' rights.
- Corporate transactions – in the event of a merger or acquisition, under confidentiality safeguards.
We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use essential and analytical cookies to:
- Maintain user sessions and authentication;
- Measure performance and usage trends;
- Improve the effectiveness of AI workflows and user interface design.
You can adjust browser settings to reject non-essential cookies. Rejecting cookies may limit certain features.
8. AI and Data-Use Transparency
- AI generation uses the text and media you provide solely to create requested video ads.
- We may store anonymized fragments of input/output data to refine accuracy, detect abuse, and train models on aggregate patterns — never identifiable customer data.
- Some visuals, voices, or characters may be synthetic. Employers must review all AI outputs for accuracy before publication.
- JobPeeks complies with FTC and emerging U.S. AI transparency guidelines (2024+) by clearly labeling AI-generated content where required.
9. Data Retention and Security
- We retain personal and business information only as long as necessary for the purposes described or as required by law.
- Default retention for inactive accounts: 24 months, after which data is deleted or anonymized.
- We employ encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews.
- However, no system is completely secure; you use the Platform at your own risk.
10. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your state of residence (e.g., California, Virginia, Colorado), you may have the right to:
- Access a copy of your personal data;
- Request correction or deletion;
- Opt out of data sharing for cross-context advertising (we do not engage in such sharing);
- Withdraw consent for communications or analytics; and
- Appeal a denied privacy request.

11. Refund-Related Information
When you request a refund (see Terms §11), your payment details are used solely to verify eligibility and process the refund. We retain minimal transactional metadata to comply with accounting and anti-fraud laws.
12. Children's Privacy
The Platform is not intended for anyone under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a minor has provided data, contact us for deletion.
13. Data Transfers
JobPeeks stores and processes data in the United States. If you access the Platform from another country, you consent to the transfer and storage of information in the U.S., where privacy protections may differ. We implement reasonable technical and contractual safeguards to protect cross-border data.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. The "Last Updated" date reflects the most recent revision. Significant changes will be communicated by email or website notice.
