Job Summary:
This role is the primary service and maintenance contact for Trane Technologies customers in a defined market with a diverse commercial base including healthcare, process manufacturing facilities, education institutions, and office complexes. You will be commissioning, troubleshooting, repairing, and starting up HVAC systems in a commercial environment.
You will utilize your knowledge of air conditioning theory, pipe fitting, and mechanical layouts to perform your tasks. This position offers the opportunity to work with internal and external partners, ranging from new facility setups to existing facility retrofits. Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with team leaders, project managers, and customers to understand requirements for on-site installation and repairs, including forecasting issues, gathering materials, and synchronizing work.
- Serve as the direct customer contact, responsible for products and equipment on assigned projects, ensuring customer satisfaction by diagnosing and repairing equipment and systems.
- Use advanced software, hand tools, blueprints, and engineering specifications to diagnose and repair units.
- Maintain flexibility to work overtime and weekends, including occasional overnight stays.
- Enforce safety standards and maintain security and accountability of company assets by recording their use, wear, and condition.
Work Location:
This position has been designated as remote, with work performed at specified locations or time zones as needed.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; 5+ years of HVAC experience preferred.
- Technical school or formal training is preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and handheld devices (smartphone, iPad).
- Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major violations such as DUI, hit & run, license suspension, reckless or careless driving, or multiple infractions in the past 3 years.
- EPA Certification.
Additional Requirements and Environmental Exposure:
- Ability to operate a vehicle safely and legally with seat belt use.
- Ability to wear safety equipment such as helmets, goggles, fall protection harness, and safety boots.
- Physical ability to twist, squat, reach overhead, stand for extended periods (up to 4 hours), and lift/move up to 40 lbs regularly, with occasional heavier lifts.
- Ability to safely use ladders with a 350 lb. weight limit while carrying equipment.
- Access confined spaces and rooftops at heights up to 50 feet.
- Work may involve exposure to variable weather, moving parts, heights, electrical hazards, noise, and other environmental conditions.
Compensation:
- Base pay range: up to $7,500 sign-on bonus (DOE).
- Total compensation includes a commission/incentive plan.
- Note: Actual pay varies based on seniority, merit, and location.
