What You’ll Do

• Teach math to students in a way that makes sense to them (training provided)
• Work with students individually and in small groups using the Mathnasium Method™
• Track student progress and celebrate successes
• Create a positive, engaging, and safe learning environment
• Support your team and help with occasional center operations

What We’re Looking For

• Strong math skills through Algebra I (higher-level math a plus)
• Passion for working with kids and building relationships
• Great communicator — positive, patient, and encouraging
• Willingness to learn, take feedback, and grow
• High school diploma required; college coursework in math or education preferred

Schedule & Locations

• Part-time: 2–4 shifts per week
• Weekday afternoons/evenings and weekend shifts available
• Work at one primary center (Glenview, Kenilworth, or Winnetka) — with opportunities to cover shifts at nearby centers if you’d like more hours

Additional Info

• Paid training provided
• All applicants must pass a math assessment, background check, and provide work authorization

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Available 4 days a week (Monday - Thursday 1 PM - 7:30 PM, Saturday 8:30 AM - 3 PM, Sunday 11 AM - 5 PM)
• Math proficiency through algebra
