Responsibilities:

To provide quick and efficient service to Papa Gino's guests by safely transporting orders to their homes or businesses. This position also involves:

• Assembling orders, checking for completeness and accuracy
• Taking phone orders from guests
• Checking delivery orders for correctness before leaving the restaurant
• Safely delivering orders within the quoted time frame according to company standards
• Itemizing and totaling guest orders using the restaurant Point of Sale system
• Accepting payment and returning change accurately
• Restocking counter supplies (napkins, paper plates, utensils, etc.)
• Maintaining cleanliness of counters, floors, and equipment in the delivery/dispatch area
• Maintaining vehicle safety and compliance with all regulations
• Keeping records of driver’s license and auto insurance as per standards
• Answering the restaurant telephone and taking guest orders for delivery or take-out when needed
• Assisting in maintaining the cleanliness of the restaurant
• Maintaining the appearance of the restaurant and grounds as directed

Requirements:

• Must hold a valid driver’s license for at least 1 year
• Regular and reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with team members and guests
• Must have a clean, reliable automobile with up-to-date insurance
• Ability to deliver to private residences, schools, and businesses
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Compliance with company motor vehicle record requirements
• Courteous and rule-abiding on the road, representing a well-known restaurant in New England
• Willingness to assist in-house during downtime (answering phones, making boxes, washing dishes)

Ability to perform essential job functions safely and successfully, meeting productivity standards, and maintaining punctual attendance in accordance with federal, state, and local standards. Employees may be asked to perform other duties as required by business needs.
